PROFILE

Kainoa is the signature collection of designer Jana Ruth Kainoa Powles. Raised along the Kona Coast, Jana's love for the Hawaiian culture is reflected in her designs. The style of the gowns are inspired by the glamour of the 1950's combined with the modern holoku.

Each gown is handcrafted in Hawaii from original 100% silk jacquard patterns that represent native Hawaiian flowers. These Hawaiian flowers tell ancient love stories and Hawaiian Legends perpetuating the Hawaiian culture.
